Christian Theologies and Worldview MIN235

This 15 credit course aims to explore the development of Christian ethics and theologies and apply these within a leadership capacity to diverse cultures and societies.

The course consists of the following two components

Ethics - 5 credits

How do we demonstrate a God-centred ethic as a missionary in today’s world? We will look at ethics from a biblical theological perspective, survey different ethical systems and present a Biblical model for ethics. The component presents you with a Christian framework of values and ethics to live out in a multi-cultural world and grapples with contemporary issues facing the cross-cultural worker.

Theology II - 10 credits

This component considers how the global church contributes to a global theology. It explores how God's revelation, particularly the Scriptures, is perceived, expressed and applied in various contexts around the world including Asia, Africa, South America, North America and the Middle East.
