A special place for children
Eastwest College welcomes students with children. Many families come through our courses and children adapt well to the environment and enjoy the community of international children.
Infants & Pre-schoolers (0-5)
Rainbows:
Rainbows Childhood Centre, is located on the college campus and an ideal solution to the challenge of parents studying and meeting the social and developmental needs of their children. It exists to provide the community with quality childcare and education in a safe and loving environment, based on Christian beliefs and values.
Its children and the staff are prayed for regularly asking blessing and protection from God, and that children will develop a healthy understanding of the world and each other through activities and interactions, through prayer, songs and exploring their creativity.
Parents must contact the manager on office@rainbows.org.nz when they apply to Eastwest College, to see if there is any space available. Please check the Rainbows Early Childhood website for up-to-date fees. Rainbows currently has a waiting list.
Great Beginnings Early Learning Centre:
5 Minutes down the road from Eastwest College, is Great Beginnings Early Centre which is right next to Gordonton School.

If parents are interested in this centre they should make contact as soon as possible.

Primary School & Intermediate (5-13)
The nearest school to the college campus is Gordonton School which caters for children from year 1 to 8 (ages 5 to 13).
Hamilton Christian School is a Year 1-13 school situated 13km from the College. They operate a fee-paying system. (They have a long waiting list! If you are interested in that school you need to contact them ASAP).
Rototuna Junior High School and Rototuna Senior High School are two separate schools operating on the same site. Junior High is a Year 7 - 10 school and Senior High is a Year 11-13 school.
There are also other schools within 10-15 minutes drive of the college and we can provide information about these on request.
Parents should research into school options as soon as they apply at Eastwest College.
Eastwest College is not responsible for applications to any of these suggested schools.
